Ten years…. June 19th will be ten years since Jeff’s murder. I can hardly believe it as it just seems like yesterday. But that is what grief and not having closure does to the heart and mind.
Since his death we have only done a few interviews and a couple updates regarding what has happened since June 19th 2015.
For those new here and new to his murder, I will give a brief outline and recap.
Do we feel we have a good idea of who was involved? Yes, we do. Will we divulge that information? Not at this time we will not.
Please keep in mind that since we were not with Jeff during his final days we received information from Jennifer, who was his wife at the time. She is not the mother to his children, Elizabeth and Matthew.
Their mom, Lori, is one of the most amazing human beings that I am so grateful and thankful to still call my sister. She is a warrior for her children and for Christ.
Since Jennifer had changed her story five times that is what instigated the investigation along with so many un-answered questions, police mess ups and horrible detective work.
Keep in mind we only received Jennifer’s version of what happened that day. She called family members around 11:00 pm on June 19th to inform of Jeff’s death. She lied and said he committed suicide.
The DEA raided Jeff’s office in Georgia on June 18th 2015. The warrant was specific to finding anything connected to GcMAF or product in the office. I spoke with many of his patients after his murder and they all stated that he stopped using and shipping GcMAF in January of 2015 when the FDA ruled that no doctor could administer nor ship GcMAF. He immediately stopped and parents could not longer receive product or treatment using GcMAF.
The DEA did not find any evidence of GcMAF. They did take all of his research off of his computers.
He was never informed to close his business, not see patients, nor did they freeze his accounts nor were they going to take his license and put him in prison. How could they when they found nothing at his practice.
Jennifer claimed she had left for North Carolina, on Wednesday, the day before the raid, with her son- Aaron- to drop him off at his dad’s. She proceeded to tell us they were going to meet up in Lake Lure on Friday. So conveniently she was gone.
Jeff arrives in Lake Lure on June 19th approximately around 10:00. He had a room with his name only registered. I mention this because we traveled for many years with Jeff and Lori and he always had both of their names on the reservation. This is just one of many holes in Jennifer’s story.
His room wasn’t ready yet so he left and stopped at a local grocery store for some wine and food for the room.
During this time Jennifer claimed she was in another part of North Carolina, approximately three hours away. We cannot account for the hours she was not with Jeff up until the time she was found at the scene. It is only her word of where she was with no witnesses to collaborate any of it.
Jennifer’s versions of what happened continued to change and it was very difficult to keep track of truth from fiction or flat out lies.
At approximately 12:00 two fisherman found his body in a shallow river in Chimney Rock. No one heard any gun shots. They remember looking up on the bank and seeing a woman pacing back and forth in the parking lot which was Jennifer.
She claimed she couldn’t get a hold of him and kept trying to “find” him. She went to the hotel (she gave eye witnesses a different hotel they were staying in which was verified not to be true and there were no reservations with her and Jeff) and could not get into the room because her name was not on it. We believe they were having marital issues at the time due to some conversations that we were made aware of from witnesses.
She said she made it to Chimney Rock and feared that he had taken his life. If I was afraid of my husband killing himself I would not have dilly dallied around. I would have been by his side the second he arrived at Lake Lure Inn. Also, keep in mind that he had already made plans to travel to Dubai and also arranged other speaking engagements on Friday, June 19th. This was not a man planning to kill himself. He would have had ample opportunity to kill himself at home since he would be there alone and as many doctors have said shooting oneself in such a horrific way would not be a doctors first choice. Doctors have access to multiple IV drugs that he could have used for a much painless death.
The fisherman had called 911 and the ambulance and police arrived. We have several eyewitness reports from our Private Investigators describing Jennifer’s demeanor and what she had said. I have personally spoken to the fisherman.
The police did not swab Jennifer’s hands for gun powder residue, nor did they take any fingerprints off of his car or items inside the car, nor did they take any of her clothes to test. They did NOTHING but believe her story. They spent some time questioning her and were satisfied with her version that he killed himself.
This location he was murdered at was not desolate - it was a scenic turn off spot that people went to everyday and all hours of the day. When we visited the murder scene we were shocked at how populated it was during the time we were there. We do not believe Jeff was murdered in that spot but was rather chased down and forced to go with whomever did this.
There are far too many details and inconsistencies to cover regarding Jennifer. She did hire a CRIMINAL defense attorney immediately and also flew in a coroner from Florida before the local coroner even saw Jeff’s body. This was un-heard of and the coroner spoke with our forensic investigator and she said that she had never encountered this before. She also indicated that his death, indeed, could be homicide and that there are very odd instances with his case.
Since Jennifer hired a lawyer we were informed along with the police that she is not to be spoken to nor asked to come in for further questioning. When she found out about the investigation she was infuriated and told Jeff’s staff to tell his patients NOT to contribute to our Go Fund Me.
Jennifer had him cremated within two weeks of his death which was not his wishes.
The funeral was a shit show. I apologize but there are no other words to describe it. It was clear that she has turned Jeff’s entire staff against his family, I will not go into a lot of detail other than to say it was horrible and none of us felt like we received any closure.
The theory that she was “threatened” doesn’t pan out. People have asked this and insinuated she was “scared.” We have zero evidence to support this.
Jennifer broke all communications with us. We had no idea that she was so angry and mad at us until after the funeral. Up to the funeral we were checking in on her and making sure she was doing alright. Little did we know she was going to turn and so quickly.
Toxicology report showed nothing in his system. The autopsy did show that he had bruises in places indicating he was held and forced to his knees execution style. The bruises and scratches were not post mortem - all pre.
We had hired a well known Forensic Detective, Michael Archer, who works for 48 Hours and many other well known detective shows. He proved it was not suicide. You can watch our episode on Scene of the Crime: Mystery at Chimney Rock on the ID Channel.
We received confirmation from the Supreme Court judge who signed the search warrant that there was never a case against Jeff. The Rutherford police told my husband that the FBI said that Jeff’s career was over, he was looking at jail time and that is why he killed himself…. all lies. So who got to the them?
We have concluded that someone got this search warrant in order to create the set up that Jeff’s life was over and that is why he killed himself.
The real truth is someone framed him, created this “story” to collaborate the suicide theory to cover for his murder. And the police bought it - our question is who paid the police off to continue with the shotty investigation and deliberate negligence in his case?
Dr. Jeff Bradstreet did not kill himself. The murderer is still out there. We want answers and closure.
